Steve is a Financial Services Professional with The Glenn Planning Group. He has been in the financial services industry since his graduation from The University of Miami in 1970. In addition to his Bachelor of Arts, Steve received two professional designations from The American College: Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. Additionally, Steve holds two Masters Degrees: Master of Science in Financial Services and Master of Science in Management.
Steve is the founder of The Glenn Planning Group and is of counsel to its partners. He has an extensive background in the Corporate Retirement Plan marketplace as both a consultant and advisor. Steve worked for several international money management firms and consulted on everything from small family owned businesses to Fortune 500 Companies.
Steve has addressed audiences around the globe on a wide variety of complex planning issues. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at The American College, The University of North Florida and Florida State College at Jacksonville. Additionally, he is the Past President of the North Florida Society of Financial Service Professionals and serves as the Chairman of The Florida State College at Jacksonville Insurance, Real Estate and Financial Service Advisory Committee.
In his personal life, Steve’s hobbies include all water sports, and supporting his grandchildren’s many activities. Steve is married to Kathy Mathews-Glenn. They have four married children and ten grandchildren.
